Nick’s Excursions:
It should be obvious to any hunter seeking huge whitetails, that trophy whitetails do not exist in large numbers everywhere.

It would seem reasonable to seek out the States or Provinces that inhabit the largest concentration of trophy whitetails. In the U. S. one would be well served if they would concentrate their efforts in mid-America, Kansas, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota, would rank at the top of my list for consistently producing huge whitetails.

Western Canada, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba consistently produce more Boone & Crockett trophies than any other region in North America. Thus, if I was seeking an opportunity to harvest a wall hanging trophy, I would concentrate on these areas.

It has been my experience for the days I have spent in the field, which have been many, for the quality of trophy whitetails consistently, Saskatchewan would be my number one choice.

As I write, I am seated in a room with a magnificent collection of top end trophy whitetails. All of which have come from Western Canada. Thus, I would recommend you start your research in the three provinces of WesternCanada.
